A pivotal phase of his career unfolded from 1986 to 2010 when he founded, presided over, and directed diverse mining entities within the Canadian public domain.

Since 1977, Mr. Mirko has passionately engaged in mining as a contractor, consultant, and prospector. His involvement spans 11 countries, encompassing exploration, development, and construction of numerous mining ventures. The culmination of his efforts saw the commercial production of mineral concentrates and products from five of these ventures.

Mr. Mirko's affiliations include distinguished memberships in organizations such as the Society of Economic Geologists, Inc., the Canadian Institute of Mining, Metallurgy and Petroleum, and the Association of Prospectors and Developers of Canada. His pivotal role as founder and director at Roca Mines spanned a remarkable nine-year tenure.
